President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will formally present the 2025 budget proposal to a joint session of the National Assembly on Wednesday.
The announcement was made by Dr. Ali Barde Umoru, Secretary of Research and Information at the National Assembly, during a briefing on Monday. He also confirmed preparations for the session, including entry protocols for attendees.
Earlier, Tinubu submitted the 2024–2026 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper, projecting N26.1 trillion as the 2025 expenditure. Following detailed reviews, the Senate approved the framework through its Finance Committee.
