The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) has criticised President Bola Tinubu’s administration as Nigeria marks two years under his leadership.
In a statement, CUPP’s spokesperson, Mark Adebayo, described the period as one of the toughest in the country’s history, citing worsening hunger, inflation, insecurity, and a failing health and education system.
He claimed that out-of-school children have doubled, unemployment has worsened, and Nigeria’s debt is projected to hit ₦188 trillion by 2025. He also accused the president of focusing on his re-election instead of governance.
CUPP warned that a second term under Tinubu would deepen the crisis, urging Nigerians to demand better leadership.
