President Bola Tinubu says the All Progressives Congress (APC) will gladly welcome FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, if he chooses to join the party.
Speaking in Abuja during the commissioning of new roads in Katampe District, Tinubu praised Wike’s work and said the APC would be happy to receive him when the time comes.
“Wike is not yet in my party, but the day he decides to join the progressives, we’ll welcome him. As we say, ‘as e dey pain them, e dey sweet us,’” Tinubu said.
Wike remains a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), despite serving in Tinubu’s cabinet.
