Troops and local hunters have repelled a Boko Haram attack on Warambe village in Gwoza, Borno State, killing five insurgents.

The terrorists stormed the newly resettled community around 6am on Friday but were overpowered by the combined forces. Arms and ammunition were recovered and handed over to the military.
