Hamas has freed three Israeli hostages as part of a new exchange deal, with Israel set to release 369 Palestinian detainees. The hostages—Sagui Dekel-Chen, Sasha Trupanov, and Yair Horn—were handed over to the Red Cross in Gaza’s Khan Yunis.
This marks the sixth release since the truce began on January 19. Talks on the next phase of the ceasefire are expected to resume next week as regional leaders, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan, discuss the ongoing conflict.
The war, which began on October 7, 2023, has resulted in over 1,200 deaths in Israel and more than 48,000 casualties in Gaza, according to official sources.
