Hamas militants released three Israeli hostages on Saturday as part of the latest exchange under a fragile ceasefire deal in Gaza.
The hostages—identified as Eli Sharabi, Or Levy, and Ohad Ben Ami—were handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross at Deir el-Balah, amid cheers in Tel Aviv.
Authorities say this move comes as part of a broader swap, with 183 prisoners held by Israel expected to be freed later.
The exchange follows a controversial proposal by former US President Donald Trump to relocate Gaza’s population—a plan that Hamas rejected.
Negotiations, mediated by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States, continue in Doha to secure the release of additional hostages and further ease tensions in the region.
