A middle-aged woman was apprehended at the Asaba main market, Delta State, after being accused of causing a young man’s manhood to disappear following a brief encounter.
The incident, near the market’s traffic lights, drew a mob that assaulted her before interrogating her.
The woman claimed the act resulted from a charm prepared by a man on Summit Road, Asaba, and admitted not knowing how many men had been affected. She explained that only the charm-maker could reverse the situation.
The victim, a man in his 30s, raised the alarm, prompting youths to detain the woman while considering involving the police. A viral video of the incident has sparked online debates and fear among men in Asaba, with calls for proper investigation. Authorities are yet to comment.
