FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, says he will not reveal the details of the peace agreement with Rivers Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
The two met at a recent meeting hosted by President Bola Tinubu in Abuja, following a prolonged political rift. Their reconciliation sparked online reports claiming Fubara agreed to finish his term without seeking re-election in 2027, while Wike would pick all local government chairmen.
But speaking to reporters in Abuja, Wike said, “I’ll allow you to speculate. What matters is that peace has come.”
He added that some people were unhappy about the reconciliation because they benefited from the crisis.
