FCT Minister Nyesom Wike says his wealth isn’t from politics but from his family background.
Speaking on Politics Today, Wike said, “I like money—everyone needs it. That doesn’t make me corrupt.”
He denied claims by Rotimi Amaechi that his Rolls Royce was funded through public office, adding, “I bought it myself. My father was well-off. I didn’t come from poverty.”
Wike also accused Amaechi of living large while acting modest: “You can’t preach modesty and own mansions in GRA and Abuja.”
He insisted no court has found him guilty of corruption.
