Former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai says opposition parties can defeat President Tinubu in 2027 without relying on governors.
Now with the Social Democratic Party (SDP), El-Rufai said the focus is on voters, not political elites.
“A governor has one vote. The people have millions,” he said during a media chat in Kano.
He dismissed talks of a PDP merger, saying the goal is to build a fresh, people-driven platform with equal participation — not recycled politics.
