At least 3,690 Nigerians are set for deportation from the United States as part of a broader immigration crackdown, according to data from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The report, obtained through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, reveals that over 1.4 million migrants face removal orders, with Mexico and El Salvador leading the list.

The deportation push follows President Donald Trump’s strict new immigration policies, including executive orders ending birthright citizenship for undocumented immigrants.

Since his return to office, ICE has ramped up arrests, with daily detention rates rising from 310 to 433 and large-scale raids resulting in thousands of apprehensions.
