Senator Adams Oshiomhole says President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would win if a presidential election were held today.
Speaking on Channels TV’s Politics Today, Oshiomhole said Tinubu’s bold decisions on security and economic reforms are earning him growing support.
He noted that farmers in parts of the country who couldn’t access their farms before Tinubu’s administration can now return safely. He also praised Tinubu for scrapping the multiple exchange rate system that previously favoured only the well-connected.
On defections, Oshiomhole said the best person to write a book on the subject is former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who, according to him, has moved between parties more than anyone else in Nigeria’s political history.
