A chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Buba Galadima, has revealed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu helped his daughter secure a job at the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).
Speaking during an interview on Trust TV’s Daily Politics, Galadima said the President stepped in after his daughter reached out to him directly using her father’s phone.
“She called Tinubu from my phone and told him she was jobless. He asked if she had a degree and then helped her get into the NUPRC,” Galadima said.
He noted that his daughter previously worked at the office of former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo during Buhari’s administration but was never placed on salary.
“She was posted to Osinbajo’s office during Buhari’s time and worked for four years without pay,” he added.
Galadima’s comments come amid ongoing political debates between the ruling APC and the opposition, with his revelation drawing reactions across party lines.
