President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently leading the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. Originally scheduled for November 6, the session was postponed last week following the death of Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja.

Vice President Kashim Shettima had announced the delay to the ministers.

Today’s meeting began around 1 PM, following Tinubu’s engagement with South-South stakeholders.

Discussions are expected to focus on the 2025 budget, as officials from the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning were invited early on.

Attendees include Vice President Shettima, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, Head of Service Didi Walson-Jack, and various ministers.
