An Abuja magistrate court has remanded TikTok user Ghali Isma’il for falsely claiming President Tinubu had died from poisoning.

Isma’il was arrested by the DSS after posting a video on his verified TikTok handle, @bola_asiwaju, alleging the president was critically ill.

He’s facing two charges: spreading false news and inciting disaffection against the government. The court ordered his remand at the Keffi Correctional Centre until August 19.
