Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has formally registered with the All Progressives Congress, APC, and collected his membership card ahead of his planned defection.
The registration took place on Sunday in a brief ceremony at the governor’s office in Jalingo, where the APC chairman of Kefas’ ward in Wukari Local Government Area registered him and presented the membership card.
Speaking shortly after receiving the card, Governor Kefas said his registration aligns with his decision to defect to the APC, adding that he has concluded consultations with the party’s leadership.
