The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) says a suicide bomber died while trying to enter the Mogadishu Barracks in Abuja on Monday.
The bomber’s device exploded before he could get in, killing him instantly and injuring a passerby.
The explosion happened along the Abuja–Nyanya road around 1:47 p.m. Emergency teams, police, and the military responded quickly and secured the area.
NEMA said the injured victim was taken to the National Hospital, while security agencies are investigating.
