Off-grid power is gaining attention in Nigeria as erratic electricity supply from the national grid continues to frustrate homes and businesses. Several states are now turning to solar mini-grids and independent power projects to support local electricity supply.
The shift comes at a time of instability in the global energy market and gas supply challenges affecting power generation.
