A windstorm in Garba-Chede, Bali LGA of Taraba State, has killed six people and injured 30 others.
Several buildings, including homes, schools, mosques, and shops, were damaged. Food items worth millions were also lost.
The town’s traditional ruler, Kaigama Maigandi, appealed to Governor Agbu Kefas for help to rebuild.
A team from the North East Development Commission (NEDC), led by Dr. Balutu Isa Mohammed, visited the area to assess the damage and promised to support victims with relief materials.
