Saudi-based Mashariq Al Dhahabiah has accused the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) of breaching its contract for the 2025 Hajj and has given the commission 20 days to resolve the issue or face international arbitration.

The firm claims it was contracted as the sole service provider for Nigerian pilgrims but that NAHCON split the contract with another company, allegedly violating their agreement. In a letter to NAHCON, the company stated: “Your contracting with other companies constitutes a clear violation of the agreement.”

NAHCON has denied wrongdoing, saying the decision was made by Saudi authorities
