Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (retd.), says his administration is building a strong foundation for good governance that will benefit both current and future generations.
He said this in Port Harcourt while opening a four-day leadership training organised by the state government in partnership with the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).
Ibas noted that the training aims to reposition the public service for better performance, driven by strong institutions, accountability, and results.
“This is about building a culture of excellence and preparing public servants to lead with purpose,” he said.
The workshop, attended by top civil servants and local government leaders, focused on leadership, reforms, and service delivery.
NIPSS Director-General, Prof. Ayo Omotayo, described the training as timely and crucial for sustainable development.
