At least 1,111 Nigerians were killed and 276 abducted in June, according to a new report by Beacon Security and Intelligence.
The report shows a sharp drop in incidents compared to May, but civilian deaths still made up over 70% of the total.
Zamfara recorded the highest number of killings and abductions. The North-West remained the most affected region.
Despite fewer incidents, insecurity persists in the North-East, North-West, and parts of the North-Central.
