Singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has been remanded in the Oke-Kura Correctional Centre, Ilorin, after being arraigned for defamation, cyberstalking, and inciting public disturbance.

The charges follow a petition by Fuji musician Saheed Osupa, who accused Portable of making defamatory claims in a viral video, including allegations of sabotaging his music earnings on streaming platforms.

Portable was arraigned before Magistrate Sunday Adeniyi on Monday. Although his lawyer argued for bail, the court ordered his remand until his bail conditions are met.

He was granted bail in the sum of ₦1 million, with one surety required to be a PMAN official. The case was adjourned to April 30, 2025.

Police arrested Portable during a live video session on Saturday. The feud between the two artistes had earlier seen Portable issue an apology, which he later withdrew after Osupa reportedly declined to forgive him.
