The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has increased the pump price of petrol to ₦945 per litre in parts of Abuja, up from ₦910. In Lagos, the price now stands at ₦915 at several NNPCL outlets.

Daily Trust checks on Monday showed that stations along Fin Niger-Badagry Highway and Igando had already adjusted to the new price, while the NNPCL outlet in Kubwa, Abuja, also reflected the change.

Other major marketers have made similar adjustments. MRS now sells at ₦925 per litre, up from ₦875, while TotalEnergies moved from ₦879 to ₦910 per litre.

The hike follows an increase in ex-depot price to ₦880, with marketers blaming rising logistics costs and global crude oil uncertainty.
