Hakeem Baba-Ahmed has rejected the political coalition talks led by Atiku Abubakar and Nasir El-Rufai ahead of 2027, calling them “disappointing” and “self-serving.”
The former Northern Elders Forum spokesperson said those involved should not be leading the process, insisting Nigeria needs a generational shift in leadership.
He added that the effort lacks unity and national vision, and urged fresh voices to take the lead rather than “people who’ve been vice president, governor, or minister.”
