Northern governors have called for a review of Nigeria’s security approach following fresh attacks and renewed Boko Haram activity.
At a meeting with traditional rulers in Kaduna, Gombe State Governor and NSGF Chairman, Inuwa Yahaya, said recent killings in the North-East and North-Central show urgent need for stronger coordination among all levels of government.
The governors expressed condolences to affected states and praised President Tinubu’s efforts but stressed the need for new strategies to address rising insecurity.
A communique is expected at the end of the meeting.
