Two years after the Kolmani oil drilling project was launched in Bauchi–Gombe, NNPCL says work will soon resume.
Group CEO Bayo Ojulari gave the update in a recent interview, assuring locals that drilling and the Ajaokuta–Kano gas pipeline project will continue.
He said the projects will revive industries and bring jobs to the region.
Ojulari also addressed concerns over his appointment, urging Nigerians to support him as he works to deliver results.
On the rift with Dangote Group, he said talks are ongoing and both parties will now work together for Nigeria’s benefit.
He also explained that falling global oil prices have affected revenue but promised efforts to cut costs. He added that fuel prices would adjust in time as dealers clear old stock.
