The Adamawa State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has seized 626 compressed blocks of cannabis sativa, weighing over 500 kilograms, at the Numan Bridge.
State Commandant Agboalu Femi Samson revealed that the operation, conducted in collaboration with the military, involved suspects on the agency’s watch list. The drugs were being transported in two tinted vehicles with fake presidency number plates from Akure, Ondo State, to Mubi, Adamawa State.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri visited the scene, commending the NDLEA’s efforts and pledging ongoing support for combating drug trafficking.
