The National Assembly has sent the harmonised tax reform bills to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for assent.
Senator Yemi Adaramodu, spokesperson of the Senate, confirmed this on Monday, noting that legal checks were completed before transmission.
The bills, submitted by Tinubu last year, aim to reform Nigeria’s tax system. Despite initial debate, both chambers passed and adopted them on May 25.
