Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (PDP, Kogi Central) has dismissed reports claiming she apologised to the Senate, insisting she stands by her statements.

In a statement on Monday, she described the claim as false, saying, “I stand firm in my resolve to never apologise for speaking my truth.”

The senator, recently suspended for six months over alleged misconduct, called her suspension “political victimisation” but vowed not to be silenced.

Akpoti-Uduaghan had accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio of making sexual advances toward her and petitioned the UN over the matter. She urged the public to ignore the reports, stating, “I will continue to fight for justice, no matter the cost.”
