Governor Dikko Radda says over 90% of bandits operating in Katsina are not outsiders but locals known to their communities.
“They are our people. We know their parents and where they come from,” he said on Tuesday.
The governor stressed that tackling insecurity requires involving locals. He said the state created a security outfit with youths from affected areas to help track informants and guide operations.
