Two men were lynched by a mob in Polosa, near Suleja in Niger State, over alleged theft of okra from a farm.
One of the victims, said to be mentally unstable, was caught on a farm Sunday and chased into the community. He was beaten by youths. Another man who tried to defend him was also attacked and set ablaze.
Police said five suspects have been arrested and the situation is under control.
