Sir Jim Ratcliffe the latest shareholder at Old Trafford has revealed he would rather see Arsenal win the premier league than the other two major contenders. The English businessman revealed this recently but not before saying how he really feel about the top 3 title chasers – Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City – “I hate them all”, he said.
When pushed to pick, Sir Jim conceded ‘it would be good’ to see Mikel Arteta get the win, as he praised the patience the Arsenal hierarchy have shown their tactician; ‘It would be good for Arteta actually, he has done really well there. Arsenal have been patient with him which is nice as well.’
Manchester United are hoping to build a team who can compete for the highest honours in the country too, but the new co-owner says there is a lot of work still to be done.
