A 32-year-old man, Rasaq Gafar, has been arraigned in Ibadan for allegedly threatening to kill Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke.
Police said the threats were sent via social media, sparking concerns about public safety. Gafar was charged with threat to life and breach of peace. He pleaded not guilty.
The court granted him ₦2.5 million bail with two sureties and adjourned the case to November 13.
