The Nigeria Police Force, Kano state command, have announced they arrested two suspects on charges of stealing a signpost belonging to Bachirawa Police Station in Ungogo Local Government Area of the state.
The spokesperson for the state police command, SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, who made the disclosure on social media, on Wednesday, said the suspects were arrested with the help of residents in the area.
His message initially written in Hausa, is translated to English, thus, “The person who stole Bachirawa Police Station (signpost) and the person who collected it are working hand-in-hand. Residents of the neighbourhood have brought up a new signpost.
“We are grateful to the people of Bachirawa.”
