The Kano State Government has issued a final warning to civil servants who have not completed their mandatory verification, stating that failure to comply will result in unpaid salaries and possible dismissal.
Secretary to the State Government, Umar Farouk, said the verification process, which began last year, uncovered payroll discrepancies, including identity mismatches. A committee has been set up to oversee payroll validation, and workers are urged to verify their details immediately to avoid penalties.
