The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has pegged 150 as the minimum score for gaining admission into universities for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The new cut-off was announced on Tuesday during JAMB’s policy meeting in Abuja, led by the board’s Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede.

For other institutions, colleges of nursing now have a minimum cut-off of 140, while polytechnics and colleges of education remain at 100.

JAMB said the cut-off points were agreed upon by heads of tertiary institutions across the country and must be followed strictly.
