Former President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump has been responding to the recent assassination attempt made on him. In a recorded call with one of his election rivals, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, Trump described the feeling of bullet that appeared to graze his ear as “the world’s largest mosquito”.
“I just turned my head to show the chart and something wrapped me,” said Trump in the clip. “It felt like a giant—like the world’s largest mosquito. And it was, it was a bullet going around. You know, what do they call that, an AR-15 or something? That was a big gun. That was a pretty tough gun, right?”
The video of the call was allegedly leaked by Kennedy’s son who claimed some of the other details of the call should be made public. The younger Kennedy wrote he is “a firm believer that these sorts of conversations should be had in public.”
Robert F. Kennedy Jr, has apologized for the details of the call being made public.
“When President Trump called me, I was taping with an in-house videographer. I should have ordered the videographer to stop recording immediately. I am mortified that this was posted. I apologize to the president,” Kennedy wrote on social media.
