Iran has launched missile strikes on US military bases in Qatar and Iraq in response to recent American attacks on its nuclear facilities, state media reported Monday night. The operation, dubbed “Blessing of Victory,” targeted Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar and Ain al-Asad in Iraq.
Qatar’s Ministry of Defence confirmed its air defenses intercepted the missiles, adding that no casualties were recorded. The US Embassy in Doha advised citizens to shelter in place. The strikes follow US bombardments of nuclear sites in Natanz, Fordo, and Isfahan, prompting condemnation from countries including Russia, China, and Cuba.
