The case, linked to allegations of defamation against legal luminary Aare Afe Babalola, was adjourned to January 29, 2025, for further proceedings.
Farotimi’s arrest last week, over claims in his book Nigeria and its Criminal Justice System, has sparked public outcry. Activists, including Omoyele Sowore, announced protests to demand his release.
