Hamas has rejected U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal to relocate Palestinians from Gaza to Egypt and Jordan, labelling it an “aggressive scheme” to displace them.
In a statement, Hamas reiterated Palestinians’ commitment to their land and rights, rejecting any plan aimed at uprooting them. “The Palestinians, who have faced forced displacement by Israeli forces, will not accept this scheme,” the group said.
Hamas also criticized the U.S. for supporting Israeli policies that violate Palestinian rights and called on Arab and Islamic nations, especially Egypt and Jordan, to oppose such efforts. The proposal comes amid rising tensions and worsening humanitarian conditions in Gaza.
