Some suspected gunmen reportedly attacked and murdered, Mr. Daniel Umaru-Lagi, the father of the former attorney-general and commissioner for justice in Nasarawa state, barrister Innocent Lagi.
The attackers, suspected to be kidnappers, reportedly abducted the victim on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in Wamba but was later killed when their demand for ransom was not met.
One of the assailants was reportedly arrested in the area while security operatives trail the other accomplices.
The body of the deceased have since been deposited in one of the hospitals in Akwanga Local government area of the state.
The police have not released a public statement on the matter.
