Nigeria’s Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, has reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to supporting and strengthening traditional institutions across the country, describing them as vital to national unity, peace, and sustainable development.
The assurance was given during a courtesy visit to the palace of the Emir of Gumel in Jigawa State, where His Royal Highness, Emir Ahmed Mohammad Sani II, celebrated his 45th year on the throne.
