Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, will begin a three-week medical leave on Monday, August 18, 2025.

In a statement on Thursday, the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Bala Salisu Zango, said the governor’s deputy, Malam Faruk Lawal, will serve as acting governor during the period.

Radda thanked residents for their prayers and support, saying the break is necessary to prioritise his health and return with renewed energy to continue his “Building Your Future” agenda.
