A grieving mother told AFP her baby died from severe malnutrition. “There is no food, no medicine,” said another resident.
UN agencies warn Gaza is being starved, and nearly all of Rafah is now a no-go zone. Israel says the blockade aims to pressure Hamas, but critics say it’s civilians who are paying the price.
