Operations at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, were temporarily halted after an Allied Air cargo aircraft skidded off the runway on Wednesday due to a tyre burst.
The plane, carrying five passengers, reported no injuries, and all onboard were safely evacuated.
Emergency teams and investigators are currently clearing the runway, while delayed flights await resumption.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) assured the public that the runway would reopen soon and urged against speculation until the Nigeria Safety Investigation Bureau releases its findings.
