Former Ekiti Governor Dr. Kayode Fayemi dismissed claims of bitter political feuds in Ekiti as mere performance. Speaking at his 60th birthday Thanksgiving in Isan Ekiti, he stressed that what appears as political conflict is really just a show for public entertainment.
Fayemi recalled spending the day with Governor Segun Oni and noted that even Governor Ayodele Fayose would have joined him if available. “The drama on social media isn’t real enmity—it’s just for show,” he said. He emphasized that despite party differences, Ekiti leaders share a common vision for the state’s progress.
Fayemi urged citizens to look beyond the theatrics and focus on unity, reminding them that effective leadership transcends partisan rivalries.
