The #EndBadGovernance movement has announced a nationwide protest on June 12 to express frustration over rising hardship under President Tinubu’s administration.
At a press conference in Lagos, movement leader Comrade Hassan Soweto said the protest will target the government’s economic policies, including fuel subsidy removal and naira devaluation, which he said have worsened poverty.
He also accused the government of shrinking democratic space and called on the police to respect the rights of peaceful protesters.
