Former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai says many people told him he made a mistake for speaking up after leaving office.
He made the remark on Thursday at the launch of a memoir by ex-AGF Mohammed Adoke in Abuja.
“In Nigeria, they expect you to keep quiet after public service. I refused. They said I’d made a mistake and would never return to government,” El-Rufai said.
He added that he’s working on a second book and has no regrets about his time in office.
