Former Kaduna Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has said Nigeria is being run by “urban bandits,” not the kind hiding in forests, but those holding power in the cities.
Speaking at ex-Governor Rotimi Amaechi’s 60th birthday lecture in Abuja, El-Rufai warned that the country is off track and facing its worst crisis since 1914.
“We keep handing leadership to people who don’t know what to do—only how to grab power,” he said, urging Nigerians to vote for leaders with competence and vision.
